THE FINAL MEETING OF THE HIVE PROJECT “HEI INNOVATION FOR KNOWLEDGE INTENSIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP”

From 19 to 20 June 2024, the EIT project HIVE Closing Event ‘HEI Innovation for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship’ took place at the University of Latvia (Riga, Latvia). HIVE DniproTech project coordinator Maryna Lytvyn (Associate Professor of Economic Theory and International Economic Relations Department, Director of Resource Centre for Sustainable Development at Dnipro University of Technology) and HIVE DniproTech team member Larysa Kolisnyk (Associate Professor of History and Political Theory Department, Head of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies at Dnipro University of Technology) presented the main results of the project.

     

The main results of the participation of Dnipro University of Technology in the implementation of the HIVE Project ‘HEI Innovation for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship’ (EU Horizon Europe programme) were:

- development of the training certification programme ‘Entrepreneurship: Turning ideas into business’, completion of the programme by Dnipro University of Technology students; 

- creation of an English-language elective course ‘Entrepreneurship: Turning ideas into business’ based on the programme;

- opening of the Regional Innovation Hub;

- signing of memoranda with the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property, the Ukrainian Start-up Fund, and the NGO Junior Achievement. 

The final meeting was attended by partners of the HIVE project consortium: Latvijas Universitāte, University of Coimbra, TED University, Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte (Riga Stradins University), Czech University of Life Sciences, Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences, ESSEC Business School, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and Bukovinian State Medical University.

 Significant results and the successful completion of the project were achieved through the coordinated joint work of our university team, led by Maryna Lytvyn, Mykola Tregub, Tatyana Bulanaya, Sergiusz Jakiv Kasian, and Larysa Kolisnyk.
